Chapter 12

It's Not Nice to Fool Mother Nature!

Even though you need more time to assimilate the information flowing from the consciousness at the core of the Earth (an infinitesimal black hole), we will begin our discussion of the other energy matrix that is rooted more in the planet than in your body. In similar manner to the connection between your Root chakra and the Earth's core, the next layer is mainly processed by your Sacral center. It deals with the interrelationship of iconic poles. That would be an obscure way of saying nature. Herein the plot thickens.

The life that exists on or near the surface of the planet represents a more complex expression of the High Mental Body than simple solidity. Gravity's simplicity gets augmented layer upon layer as the mineral world gathers ever more awareness. By the time the planet ascends to the surface, the degree of complexity is awesome! Little was needed to bring the chemicals together that formed the living cells; an influx of energy. By the time the complex forms that you are familiar with had evolved, the patterned matrix of life on Earth was firmly established and conformed with the conscious awareness of "I AM" in the High Mental Body. Indeed, myriad planets were created in myriad universes and so and so on. All of these manifestations were/are created within the SELF. Duh!

These patterns, which reverberate within you in every moment of your existence, are energetic wave forms. You relate to them through the Sacral at deep levels of consciousness within your Emotional Body (the layer of focus surrounding your body and out of which your body forms). You are constantly seeking the balance of opposing motions in order to fit the patterns that all of nature conforms to and enacts. Bringing conscious awareness to these processes is at once more challenging than being aware of your ties to gravity and solidity, by virtue of the complexity of them, and easier in ways due to the lessened charge of issues not so threatening to your survival. As the exploration is ever ongoing, let's look at how to change that exploration of the nature of nature.

Before meditation, add the following motions to your activation routine:
1.) Raise your left knee to waist high, pause and then stamp forward with your heel toward a spot on the floor about 2 feet in front of you. Make the motion forceful but contact with the floor is not the point. Alternate feet and repeat.
2.) Raise the left foot to waist high and kick to the side across your body to strike at the floor with your heel. Imagine a cloud of dust billowing at contact. Alternate and repeat.
3.) Kick backwards with the ball of each foot, forcefully but only just touching the ground. Alternate and repeat.
4.) Raise the left knee to parallel to the floor, pause, then with the knee steady move the foot in 3 circles toward the outside of your body. Alternate feet and repeat.
5.) Same as 4 but with circles toward the inside (between your feet).
6.) With straight legs kick forward brushing the floor. Follow through to knee height. With the other foot kick backwards, brushing the floor and following through to knee height. Alternate and repeat.
7.) From standing position, lift your left knee to waist high with your foot flat (parallel to floor) as though bringing a cloud of dust toward your waist height. Alternate and repeat.
8.) Sweep your left foot across your body along the floor to a spot beyond your right foot. Raise the left knee to waist height in front of you and lifting with your foot another cloud of dust. Alternate and repeat.

********************************************************************************

These motions address the crystallized energies broken up by the first set of movements, stirring them and lifting them higher in your energy field. These simple acts will stir you up some as well since the energy you are disturbing is feeling and thought patterns that you have denied and refused up until now. Not all of the issues involved will be about your Root and Sacral layers of experience but the surface manifestations will involve them. Therefore diligence and courage to confront will go a long ways toward the acceptance needed to transcend the fears which inspired your denials.

You will find that the most crucial aspect of processing these energies will be your relationship to them. Watch carefully how you are inspired to think and feel about yourself as the feeling states begin to arise. Much of your experience will include a raising of physical energy and you can use physical activity to work out many of the conflicts of feelings locked in the flotsam and jetsam of your emotional trash that the motions are stirring up.

The longer that you work with these movements the more you will transition from exploring your past emotional states to the broader canvas of your relationship with the natural world. Keep in mind that you created the natural world on your way to it and that it follows the same patterns of awareness that you experience internally. Nature is intrinsic to your identity and not something apart. That is to say:

You do not live in the world, the world lives in you.

As you explore, allow expansion to be the result of your attention. That would be the opposite of attachment by the way. While the vastness of the visible world expands you, add the far larger abstract portion of SELF to be injected into the conversation. Your meditations will lead you into the spaces you are ready to penetrate.

The nature of nature is relationship. Everything you encounter here is experienced in relationship to you. It exists relative to your body only. You see everything as distinct from you rather than as an extension of you. Part of this comes from not knowing your SELF as it is expressed into your world and part is the habit of limiting your SELF to the confines of your physical body. The natural world in which you participate is the result of the interplay of opposing yet complimentary fundamental icons just as Earth itself but on a more complex level. This complexity grows as what you think of as evolution takes place. Keep in mind that each iota of this world is formed upon the foundation of primal consciousness. "I AM" is at every core of matter. The whirl of "I AM" and "I AM NOT" is the only constant in creation, replayed in every sensory experience from which you extract meaningfulness and assign value. In order to grasp the true meaning of it all, you shall come to own it all. Every movement of the world around is you reflected. Each passing cloud, each buzzing fly, each waving blade of grass is of the same stuff, the same awareness as all that you have ascribed to yourself. It is the SELF in motion. The degree to which this goes unknown to you is a function of your will and your immaturity.

As long as you relate to the world rather than own it, you have no freedom from it. New habits of living are the pathway to releasing your bondage to bodies and forms. While you kick up the dust of the physical world and bring it back to your daily use, practice acknowledging that "all this is me, SELF. This rock is me. This bird is me. This plant is me." You may then keep on moving or stop to listen to what these portions of you are saying. Acknowledging that all you experience is you liberates you from the slavery to the physical domain.

The two energy centers below your body have ruled your awareness throughout your incarnation. Knowing that you are more than just a body has not freed you from its nature. Worse yet, the knowledge has not much shaken your certainty that you ARE a body. The higher center senses are muted by your reliance on your physical senses and so you struggle to recognize that the chair you sit upon is you. The pen in your hand is you. You cannot see magic when looking with your eyes. You cannot feel the spirit of the wind when noticing it only with your skin.

Bringing your awareness of SELF to the physical world is the point of it all. That is the true meaning of your life. Put away the scientific analyses of each sensation and look for the magic. You are magical. You create and recreate your body and your world in every moment. Moving your hand to write these words is a magical act. Neither hand nor pen exist save that consciousness makes it so. The rules of the physical world are fabrications. The entire physical dimension is being made up as you go along. Look for the magic in each moment. Recognize that every movement and sensation is magic in action. Every sight and sound is a magical movement of consciousness.

Gradually, mundane acts will be easier to define so. Your conversations will reveal their magical properties effortlessly.
The principle being:

You see what you are looking for!

The movement of stuff, of people, of wildlife will become easier to define as the magic of consciousness. You do not need to control the magic to know that it is happening. Of course, knowing that it is happening is a basic step in learning to participate more fully in the magic. You are becoming more aware in the flowing of your consciousness by looking for its magical results in all the myriad things. You are deeply addicted to noticing the details of the world. You get so caught up in wanting to know and understand the smallest aspects of it. Be it your body or nature itself, you have an almost desperate drive to deconstruct and make rational all that your senses take in. Looking for the magic widens your perception away from the details, thus freeing you from the compulsion and allowing a more abstract perspective.

Let's look now at drawing energy in from this natural world that you have lost touch with by refusing to own it as your SELF. Your connection to the natural world, the world of things living and otherwise, is through your sacral center. This is how you know the polar opposites from which all things are built. Here you relate to them all as NOT YOU. Adding recovered energy to this center will give you some surprising results to explore and the necessary speed and intensity to make that exploration possible.

The next series of motions will start to liquefy and move the energies you have stirred into motion. Then you can bring them into your Sacrum:
1.) Raise your left knee to parallel to the floor as you raise your left hand palm inward to the level of your chest and then down to the level of the center of your body alongside your body. From this starting position, draw two circles with hand and foot and resume start position. Alternate and repeat.
2.) Move your left foot in a wide circle in front of you as if around and over a small table or barrel. Alternate and repeat.
3.) Kick forward with your left foot to waist height. Then kick backward with your right foot to waist height. Alternate and repeat.
4.) From a wide stance, sweep the left foot along the floor and then up your right leg to the knee. Alternate and repeat.
5.) Reach down with your left hand to the floor and cup your fingers. Pull as if cupping water all the way to your Sacrum as you inhale and release as you exhale. Alternate and repeat
6.) Bring your left hand over your head and around from back to front in a circle to scoop a cupped handful of dust and bring it up to your Sacrum. Release with an exhale. A&R
7.) Bring your left hand over your head from front to back in a circle and reach down across your body to the front of your right foot. Scoop with your hand and bring it to the Sacral area at your back.
8.) Extend both hands above your body and sweep wide down to your feet, scooping with your hands. Bring them up to your Sacrum area and cross your arms as you release with an exhale.

********************************************************************************

Both Root and Sacral centers are predominantly instinctual. The former concerns itself with body awareness, the latter with need and desire. Body-awareness emerges into the preverbal knowledge of death which in the higher layer reaches out into threats to survival that nature provides. That awareness of threat engenders the need structures and underlies the experience of desires. When given free reign by poorly functioning higher centers these reflexive and instinctual processes bind you more and more to solidity and fear. As you focus on them and feed energy to them with these motions, you will be steeped in the familiar but also in the many loci of fear and anxiety. Early childhood is marked by the centering in these lower chakras and so much of what arises from stirring the energy here is primordial and lodged in your early years. Be prepared to apply reason, acceptance, understanding and abstraction as such issues come to the surface. Use the physical energies being released and enjoy being alive. This will become default mode for you soon or late and meanwhile offer some revelations from your sub-conscious layers.

The goal here is not to eliminate your connections to the physical world but to bring these layers of experience more complete awareness. By reclaiming the energies left to stagnate from earlier life experience, you enlighten yourself to your fuller SELF. Paradoxically, the pathway to this fear is through releasing your attachments to the physical world. The tendrils of those attachments extend from the points of connection into your self-constructed identity. Loosening these tendrils is accomplished by filling them with awareness. Do this by knowing your SELF as you truly are. Extend your SELF into each of them as you search and discover. Accept them as a part of your totality and remove from them your fears. This leaves unconditional love as you move along.

As you become increasingly adept at this natural process, you will find less evidence of these attachments in your outside world. You will see them more in your thoughts and feelings where they can be embraced and transcended. Today you observe the fears of others, singly and en masse as your predominant source. Owning that external seeming source as your own reflection opens you internally to greater and truer knowledge of SELF. Your nature in most concrete ways is universal. It is the nature of all nature. All foibles and failings, all fears are yours reflected across the globe. Your condition is the human condition and not the other way around. Embrace and forgive, own and release, acknowledge and love the wholeness of your entire world and you shall gain freedom.

In the next set of motions, you will address sluggish energies above your knees. These are more volatile than at your feet and so need less forcefulness to stir into movement. Maintain the intensity of intent that you have created in the first levels while you slow the pace of movement.

1.) Holding your hands in front of you, palms down , slap the air above the knees. Massage the area in front of you with 2 circles inward. Pause to take a deep breath and then inscribe 3 more circles. Bend over and reach to your ankles and drag with cupped hands along the leg and release at the Sacral area. Repeat.
2.) Hands at your sides with palms down, slap the air beside you and draw two outward circles. Pause to inhale and draw 3 more circles. Bend over and exhale as you reach for the sides of your ankles and drag up the sides of your legs. Release to the Sacrum with an exhale. Repeat
3.) Bring cupped hands to within a few inches of each other in front of your Sacrum. Twist at the waist to the left as far as you can. Bring cupped hands to the back and front of the sacral area facing your body. Twist them like turning a door knob 5 times. Alternate and repeat.
4.) Extend your arms out to the sides to below the level of your waist. Your left hand facing behind and right hand facing forward. Twist at the waist as far as you can while you bring your arms around. Turn your hands and twist back the other way, raising your hands with each pass until they reach the height of your naval. Twist both ways 3 times before you bring your hands in to your body at the Sacral area back and front on the last cycle and release with an exhale.
5.) Reach to the sides and with cupped hands sweep toward a spot in front of your Sacrum until they meet. Then with an inhale, pull them in to your body and release at the Solar Plexus with an exhale.
6.) Extend hands in front of you with palms facing away from each other. Sweep them around your body to meet behind you as you inhale. Draw them in and release at the kidneys with an exhale.

By taking these motions in steps as we have broken them up, you not only notice subtle differences in effect but also allow your consciousness the chance to acclimate to the increased energy flows that these motions create. The more you look for changes and think about what they might be, the more you open to the enhanced awareness they facilitate. Much of the energy which has sunken below your feet has been there for a very long time, some of it since childhood. Much will prove mysterious at best when it begins to flow through your life today. Be patient and disciplined. It has taken a lifetime to get where you are. You will not be transformed with a few days effort.
